Oh, poor poor Butter Bean! That roll breaks my heart (I remember Princess doing that nonstop).

I am VERY glad he is doing better, and obviously if he's able to climb up to be with his friends that's magnificent! I hope it keeps up.

I was so sad to read that he took a big turn for the worse, and then so glad to read that he has bounced back some. I hope he continues to improve - hang in there little man!

I'm glad to hear of any improvement. I guess it's keeping up with dex for a while. How many days can you use dex in a row, though? Just asking out of curiosity, as I know it's a lot stronger than pred. Have you tried the chlorpalm yet? So glad to know he's feeling at least somewhat better; that's nice for him, and for you. Sending healing thoughts.

I didn't ask for the Chlorpalm yet, if he continues to improve she won't change his meds right now.
But the Dex, I am suppose to start the weaning process tomorrow. I sure hope he doesn't go down hill when I do.

Lots and lots and lost of healing vibe to sweet Butter Bean...

Gosh, that roll truly is hearbreaking. I really hope he'll keep improving. Poor baby...

Butter Bean is not doing well at all. The dex needs to stay at twice a day or he goes back into a roll.
He doesn't want to eat, he's skin and bones. But he's still very alert and quite strong. I keep getting mixed messages from him. I just don't know when it's time.

Poor sweet little man. :(
I will keep hoping he gets better.
I'm sorry Jo. :hugs:

I feel so sorry for you and ButterBean Jorats; it's such a difficult situation to be in. You love them so much and you want to do what's best for them. I hope your little man can come through this. I guess all you can do is listen to his body language and go with your gut hunch as to what you think he wants. This kind of situation is so hard. I'm in a similar one; my girl is holding on, but she has some not-so-good moments where I worry. We all know what it is to be a ratty parent. My heart goes out to you and to Butter Bean. We are all here for you.

Poor Butter Bean. I thought that steroids increased one's appetite. He must be feeling pretty lousy. Have you tried something like Gravol, in case he's not eating because he's feeling nauseous?
