once i got home i did a little dance myself. i've been worried so much over poor zen and then to hear that it might be something so simple!
that was just wonderful to hear. it may not be the problem i keep having to remind myself. it may still be something more.... but i still can't help the giddy feeling. part of me is saying don't celebrate yet and the other part is beating the crud out of the first part with its party hat on.
then when she said mocha was fine, a little lopsided but fine. well it was hard not to start dancing right then and there. she was so close to never having a home and now not only does she have one waiting for her she'll be able to enjoy it for a long time to come! :bunnydance: i have to keep reminding the boyfriend that she has a home to go to though. i think he may be falling in love.
now if i could just find boyo and vandike a home to go to of their own i do believe that this will be the best day in wilson ratty history!
speaking of boyo and vandike, i should probably give everyone an update on them.
vandike update: his breathing is much better now. if i didn't know better i would think he was faking it just to get at those meds. the only time i hear anything from him now is when he knows he's about to get some...  he has 3 days left for his meds but its good for another 4 if its needed (i don't think it will be needed). he will most definitely be ready for the train but i will send up some baytril with him to his new parents just incase he has a flare. where he'll just be getting over his pneumonia when the train pulls out its foreseeable that he will flare. mind you with a trip this big probably quite a few will have the sniffles when they reach home. but nothing a few doses of baytril wouldn't be able to handle. now the trick is finding him that home!
boyo update: as healthy as ever and just as adventerous. i had all the boys out on the bed last night and he was the only one to go exploring in the closet (quite a few watched but no one else ventured). he was very excited about the whole prospect of having more then a couch to explore and was like lighting when i tried to pick him up for a cuddle. apparently he was too busy for cuddles... once he tired out though he came up to me for a butt scratch. still doesn't like his shoulders touched and still not handwrestling outside of the cage but the fact that he came to me for butt rubs is still improvement. he will make a wonderful addition to any family, but again, he still needs to find that family. he will be fine to go on the train though so maybe someone out there will want little the boyo man home with them.
