Aren't they the cutest little guys....I could look at them all day. They are a very beautiful litter of ratties...I am so proud of them all.........They are so chubby and shinny and healthy looking... :love7:

They really are adorable. Piper is doing a top-notch job! I love the name Dozer. it's fun to give names that match the personality.

I have a question.......A person that I know wanted to see the babies.......
she thought that they where cute.......(well of course). She thought Tilly and Tabitha were cute now but wouldn't be when they grow up cause they would be just plain grey :x So I was wondering how much will their color change? They are such a beautiful color and so shinny....will it lighten as they get older or darken....I have only ever seen one blue rat before and I thought he was beautiful...........

They will be beautiful ... of course, I think all rats are beautiful .....

Rats that are fed a good diet have a nice coat.

Oh I agree that they will all be extremely beautiful.......but I have never seen a blue as a baby before so I didn't know if they lighten or darken or how much their coat color will change......
I have loved blues ever since I saw one in my local pet store....I was soooooo tempted to buy him but I didn't want to support that industry.
It was very hard to walk out without him...I wouldn't have went in at all but our shelter was asked to check up on the conditions of the puppies..... :x

I was thrilled when I realized that two of my babies where going to be blue.....
I am very pleased with all my babies and with Piper.......I am a very happy rat momma....more pictures of the babies will be coming in a few hours..........soon time for their play session and Pipers cuddle/playtime with Sydney.

I've only once seen blue rats, and they were really beautiful. There's no colour quite like it.

Okay so I borrowed a friends camera and took lots of pictures of the babies......

They are so adorable.......we just love them. I don't have any favorites yet but i am pretty pleased with my little Angel....so we will start with her first.

Today while I was holding some of the babies....Nellie starting licking and nibbling my fingers.....then Maisie started. I was rubbing them and wiggling my finger when Maisie flipped over on her back and grabbed my finger and started wrestling and nibbling it...very gently of course cause she is so little.
I thought I would burst with the feeling.....oh my goodness could anything be cuter......sorry I didn't get any pictures of it cause I didn't have the camera ready and it didn't last long......not nearly long enough.......
Maisie's little eyes are starting to open a little bit but everyone else look the same as yesterday.......they are 12 days old today...Time is flying fast.

I am so happy that I am in the position to keep them all....I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to try and find good homes for them......

Beth will just have to settle for being their godmother, giving her the chance to adopt some of the available rescue ratties!!
