Unbelievable how fast that grew. Are you going to do a fine needle aspirate just to confirm? We were happily surprised with one abscess. Why not another?

Eli is on amitriptyline for stress. He gets really freaked out if I change the hammocks in his cage to totally different ones, he stresses very easily. With the internal tumour under his sternum and this one as well I will just leave him where he is most comfortable. At home until its time.
Poor Eli, his lump has a dark spot on it, and he has a wee bit of paraphimosis (gave him metacam for that tonight). Unfortunately I am leaving for a day and a half, returning Friday night so I hope things resolve before then.
He didn't like me cleaning off the dried baby cereal off his nails and took off in a huff. :giggle:
Came home to Eli not on the bed. I was sure he was dead since the food I had left him and Hope was barely touched. After ripping my room apart I found him cuddled up in a blanket. LOL All warm and cozy and wondering why the hell i was hugging him to me and crying.
Well it was an abscess...a big nasty ugly bugger. I got a lot of liquid pus out of it tonight...one of the more rotten egg smell abscesses...so gagging while I was doiing it. Blech.
Let's hope I can get that scab off better tomorrow...I managed to flush it with the Germi-stat I got.
