A little further down the sad path for Twiggy...sigh. Still hasn't affected him which is wonderful

Poor sweet Twiggy. I am so glad that he is still not suffering. Virtual kisses and banana mash to him from me. Hope that Percy also fares well despite his tumour.

And its worse. It started opening up a little under his ear, now its open more and it looks like pus there, small smell of infection, so he's on abs now. I gave him Ibu in a dish this morning too just in case. Now comes the balancing act. When is it time? He's still totally himself, just with this godawful thing on his face...I'm gong to let him do what he loves best for as long as possible...run and explore.

Cuddling into my hand :heart: He's like a girl in this respect, pats and cuddles happily accepted in the cage, but as soon as he's out he's much too busy. :lol:

sorry he's worse...his eyes still look bright though and he's definitely enjoying those cuddles.

This morning as Eli was sleeping on me, I picked him up and he stretched and yawned in my hands...and i saw something. He has a lump near his groin...sigh :sad3:

I went to feed mean ol RTR Waco and saw the same tumor on him in the same spot. Poor Waco got pulled out of his cage and cuddled and he was soo bemused he just took it.

Of the 5 boys mentioned here, only Twiggy is NOT an RTR...as Marie said these rats will break my heart little by little... :cry:

Those poor RTR fellows at least their in a place that they've known the wonders of being someone's special friends and given the opportunity that they wouldn't have had otherwise

Reading this post made me SO sad!!
It amazes me the strength you have.
You have sweet happy boys despite there tumors.

Sad sad news tonight. I find another tumour on, or better to say IN Eli The groin tumour is bigger, and the other one is internal, under the middle of the sternum.
