I was just sitting here - thinking to myself, what rat has babies in the middle of the day....maybe i should go check Junie....

and I SAW A BABY! ...and i think its little tail moved....and i think maybe i saw another one.....and then I noticed Juno was giving me this "DO YOU MIND WOMAN?!" look..... so.....i just went and got a towel to drape over her cage (so the cat/dogs dont pester her)

and now im trying to leave her alone? ..... how long until I can check on her again?

an hour or two? I want to be sure shes ok - i mean she LOOKED ok, but obviously not done.... I wanna look but I know I should just let her take care of things for the next little bit.....

Yahooo!!! It's about time! When Maebn had her wee ones I checked on her every 30 mins. or so, even though I wanted to watch and could hardly wait to touch them. She had hers in the middle of the day also. Congrats.

OMG, whats up with these momma's having so many babies. They obviously arnt thinking about the 5+ weeks of nursing and baby energy!!!

im giving her some space to rest and get those bubbies nursing!
but she just had a snack of some cereal without attacking me - I told her she did a good job

im going to give her a break, and let her settle in and hopefully nurse and snuggle with her bubbies
