Oh, I'll bet she's feeling better already without all those little feet pushing on her ribs and bladder! LOL!

Thank goodness she decided to finally have them - I hope everyone is OK. Will be anxiously awaiting pics...

Dont know - think it could be either way lol I dont know if Rats are like Cats and can have very long birthings.... ???

im going to give her a break, and let her settle in and hopefully nurse and snuggle with her bubbies

I think rats birthing process is only an hr or so once they have the first pup I think. Can't wait to see pics!

yea she's settled now with everyone :) the odd one strays but then i think she tracks em down and sits on them....

havnt done an official head count yet - ill give her a couple hours and then maybe before we go to bed i will :)

Official headcount is 12 :)

and she seems to have them in groups - well not distinct groups but she has some form of rotational feeding going on....

my camera batteries died lol. FIGURES!
everyone is eeping away...and clicking??? or am i crazy??? one has dark eyes that I can tell! and one poor one has a bruise on its little head :giggle:

Junie has ventured out from her nest twice so far - so ill make her a good dinner and see if i can coax her out to take some pics once my battery charges and clean up what LITTLE bedding she has in her "nest" .... poor bubbies are all on plastic..... im hoping she'll build herself a nest again now that she knows the dirty part is over....

That's great 12! wowsers. It's funny how they put them on plastic at first. Camilla did that as well but now she has them on the fleece.
Can't wait to see pics! I think the clicking you're hearing is the noise they make when they're eating or pretending their eating lol I've seen and heard them do this when Camilla is feeding them and when she's not feedin them.

I've also noticed that the babies vibrate? lol it's the weirdest thing. Almost like they're in heat but different lol I dunno what that's about but I remember Hermione's babies did that as well.

You're going to have so much fun!

Fotos!!

Junie took a wee break in her alligator - while I cleaned up her box and took some very quick pictures

Please dont mind the watermarks - just being a little paranoid about my macro shots (for no particular reason, just out of habit - its not coz i think they're the bees knees or that someone's going to rip them off ...)
