Wonderful Changes

Wayne and I have always had trouble getting the girls out of their cages most of the time. With Lily I learned to scoop her under her belly from the bottom of the cage. They would really never freely run onto our shoulders from the cage. Finally if we picked up Lily and put her back enough she would eventually climb onto our shoulders, but the other two, no way.

Well maybe 4 days ago (please note before we went to Mumsy's and before we brought Olivia and Pearl home) Wayne and I were beside the cage and the girls were on the top getting pets. Well Hazel ran onto Waynes shoulder, and then back to the cage, and she did this repeatedly. Now ALL of them do it constantly. Ruby actually came out onto Wayne's plam and sat there this morning.

We don't know why they have changed their ways, I am not questioning it because I LOVE IT!!! :bliss: I honestly thought that they would never do that but they have totally surprised us. This morning they didn't even what to come off my shoulder.

I'm so happy with this change.

More and more the girls are feeling more confident and more secure with you and Wayne. It's such a gratifying feeling when you know your rats are just so happy to be with you.

Now they are crazy. We open the cage and that's all they want to do is climb over to us. Lily is still a little nervous about it but the other two are crazy.
