I'm not sure bron, but I'd take a guess at getting a banana and mashing it!
so she is obviously unaware of the complexity of this recipe!!
After mashing the banana, blend in
thoroughly a teaspoon or so of smooth peanut butter, then add about a tablespoon of unflavoured yogurt. Some ratties like to have a tablespoon of oatmeal flakes added but, for babies, it's better to keep it as smooth and liquid-y as possible.
So lovely to see more photos of those sweet babies!!!
And yes, it is a real treat to meet someone else who doesn't laugh at my choice of pet! We all gabbed so much about rats that poor Dahlas' hubby finally retreated to watch TV. He has longer endurance for rat talk than does my husband, though!
Dahlas, you did a great job of the cage. It looks like home, and i can just imagine those babies zooming around it as their mobility increases.
BTW, I had a hair-raising drive home last night. The internet weather forecast had said clear weather Sunday and bad weather Monday. Well, the bad weather hit the NB border early! I left Halifax later than planned and drove straight into a mini-blizzard just before entering NB. At the end of my drive there were only a few transport trucks and me on the road; you'd have to be nuts to be out there in the snow & ice pellets & (eventually) rain. Only saw one pair of snowplows and that was about 30 km from home. So I got to find out that my car is very good in the winter conditions (whew).
