Neutering a male rat cost etc.

Hi there,

We just adopted two male rats age approx 2.5-3 months old. We are looking for a reasonably priced good vet in Vancouver BC area, Tri City area or Fraser Valley. Any suggestions? How much do you normally pay for this procedure? Thanks.

The cost of neuters varies wildly, depending on where you are located and the vet you use.
In Nova Scotia one exotic vet I know charges less then $50, my vet here in New Brunswick charges $107 + 15% HST and vets in other areas may charge much more
The most important thing is finding a good vet with the knowledge and experience to neuter rats safely
