Still house sitting, so mom and Hannah have been coming back and forth with me everyday ..and Hannah gets to go play with everyone, mom chills on the couch ..today mom got to chill with Oscar, Toby & Teddy on the couch anddd of course I got some pictures

UPDATE: Just weighed Momma, she is at her normal weight again ..295 grams :dance: :joy:

 

Bought a new cage for Momma & Hannah today! ..I feel the doube double FN is just not safe enough for my baby girl ..I don't want to take any chances.

Here's their new home, nice and safe.

So for the past 5 days, I have been feeding momma ensure and baby food mixed with powdered blocks. I know she is able to eat hard food now ..but how do I get her too eat her blocks again ..seems like she will just wait for better.

Any suggestions?

If I got cooked butternut squash, I wouldn't eat my blocks either. P=

Medicating for a PT is just buying time right now... give her whatever she wants to eat and enjoy your time with her!

Keep offering her blocks and she might nibble at them but if she sticks to lab block dust mixed in with tastier foods from now on, be happy that she's happy

 

kk, will do ..although we thin its a stroke she had now, not PT ..but if baby food with powered food in it won't hurt her then I don't have any problems with doing that. I was just wondering for thoese times im not home for periods during the day (ie. work)

Update!!

Momma is back more so than ever!!

She used to be my run away rat, that would escape from anything/jump from anything ..i.e the couch & your shoulder when sitting down. Well guess what ..she's jumping off couches and shoulders again and running as fast as her 4 legs can take her :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:

She is also hoarding her food again!!!!!!!!!
