That's great your vet gave you her email address. That is such a big help, isn't it?! And it's wonderful she replies so promptly.

I'm also glad to hear you have complete faith in your ratsitter. It's such a huge relief knowing your pets are in good hands when leaving on a trip.

Thinking positive for you and your rat and am very impressed by how well you're researching and putting together your rat medical team. That's great your current vet recommended you go to the emergency vet. Sounds like you're making progress!

If the baytril + doxy isn't good enough, try baytril + azithromycin (10mg/Ib - 15 mg/Ib) for at least 6 weeks if it helps
