Hannah *Update on Implants*

Hannah did well last night in with all her brothers & sisters

Found her curlled up this morining with Toby in a cozy hammock :heart:

I also have soem cute pictures of her eating freezed dried bananna treats she got for Christmas, I'll post them later!

That's so great! I hate the smell of metacam I always get flashbacks of Raina's tumor which was just horrible. Glad your girl is starting to feel better!

I can't believe how well she's doing. She's been very good since she got home. Dr. Dezeeuw said she woke up very fast, started eating right away ..and was acting like nothing happened. He was kind of afraid on giving her pain meds in fight that it would make her too active :gigle: but he had to give it to her just incase.

UGH!

Hannah has another lump, right next to her stitches ..but this one feels firm and is not as free moving like the preious ones ..its also about 2 peas in size.

Could it be an abscess?

 

^ thats what I was thinking, but are abcesses firm ? She has a check up for Jan 3rd

Abscess or a seroma (fluid buildup in the pocket left by the surgery, usually the body reabsorbs it on its own). Sniff the incision for any smell like infection.

Some abscesses that I've had here are hard as rocks. I've had a seroma too, that was re-absorbed on its own.

 

No smells.
Is there anything I should do? or just wait and see?
