I just read this all from start to finish and I'm floored.. so many rats needed a second chance and so many people stepped up to the plate. There couldn't have been a more satisfying end to what looked like an absolutely hopeless situation. The selflessness of everyone involved will be rewarded someday.

I believe the number altogether was 42, minus 3 now (right?), so that's 39 rats now in forever-homes?
