I'm probably gonna buy one of these cages in a while, since the one I have now will be to small for my girls in a while...
I only have two girls at the moment (bight buy a third, but that's not for sure). Yeah, so I like the Furet XL a lot. It's taller, so they'll get to climb a bit higher! But I'm not if the Plus is more appropriate for two girls? Any opinions?

(My dream would be to buy the small FN, but since I live in Norway, I can't get it. Unless I order it from the States, and with the shipping and all it will cost about 2000 US dollars.. Soo..)
 
I like the Furet XL since it has more levels and is certainly bigger which makes for more climbing fun for girlie rats :) does it come with those accessories? the litter pan and the hammock would be handy :D
 
The XL is 31.5"x29.5"x34", which would be a great size for 3 girls. It also has the two shelves, and lots of room to add more if you wanted to. You would have alot of decorating options, too.


The Plus is only 31.5x20x27.5, which would be a bit cramped for 3, in my opinion. My original cage was about the same size as the Plus, and after the wheel and a couple of hammocks were in there, there wasn't much room for them to run around in.
 
I've always loved the Ferplast cages, they seem really nice. I wish we could get them here in the states.

If you ever decide to get more than 3, the Tower would be amazing for several rats.

Had it for 2 years, now have his bigger brother for a year. LOVE THE CAGE. i had just 3 rats in it for a while, they had the time of there life in that cage. so much space for the little dudes :mrgreen:

I think an plus is oke to, but i would buy the xl. If you ever wanna get more rats, i had 8 in it (oke, i did had an very laid back, easy going group) and 6 rats will def. fit :) So its a great cage for in case you might get GMR (get more rats) 8) And oh well, if you stick to 2/3 rats, its a great cage for a small amount of ratties to. 8)

Whahaha i think a tower for 2/3 rats is a bit to much. :lol: i have trouble finding my rats in it, and i have 6 of those little ones running around. :lol:
Although i know there are people who just keep 4 rats in it. i had 4 rats in it for a while, but i think its a bit to much space then (read; i cant find 4 ratties in such a huge cage :lol: ) On the other hand... you can put sooo much stuff in a tower, its redicules! :lol: 8) ratties will love that! But you can put a lot in the xl also, and you already get some stuff with those cages. if i am correct you get with the xl 5 tubes, 2 levels, 1 strair, 1 hammock, 1 toilet, 1 bottle and 1 plastic thing they can eat out. (erm yeah forgot what thats called. :oops: :lol: ) and it still will look empty!

I'm really looking foreward to my birthday now! I'm 99,999% sure I'm gonna buy the Xl :)

I've seen it, yeah:p But I don't think I have enough money, room or rats for that cage just yet. But can't guarantee there won't be a tower in my house in the future!
