You & the meds snatched some good time back for her. And it's a double bonus in that she has less 'hard time' to do in the time she has left.
She's making the most of every ability she has, isn't she? and like so many others said she's living to her fullest. That's more than most people do. These kids really do pack a lot of living into a short time, I guess it's kind of supercilious to feel sorry for them when we'd do better to emulate them.
Calla, you've lived well and you are a shining example, more so than most humans will ever be, no less than any human that is someone we can aspire to be. And your mom has documented your battle - the battle you've won for sure by rising to your abilities, not sinking with your weights. She honors you for the benefit of us all. You'll never be weak or disabled kiddo, you're strong and capable as anyone could be within their abilities.
