:(

you are a brave soul!!!

and those boys, who may not always show appreciation...lol...are really lucky to have you as their mom!!

:yeah:

AND...

I can't help but shed some tears for the boys...you are right; what luck (heavy on the sarcasm) to be born to BYBs!! In a perfect world if they could, for but a moment, see what happens when they indiscriminately throw two ratties together!! Thank the Universe that you have so much to give these little critters! They have known love and in the end...what do we really have that is more valuable? :hugs:

Well 2 more tumours to add to the mess...

Finley has a hard mammary tumour in his right armpit.

Waco let me really examine him and I discovered a large mass in his left testicle...so we can add testicular cancer to the growing list of health issues this "line" of rats had.

But he let me cuddle him (he was named Waco for a reason!), and he even gave me a couple of licks.

Geez that sucks....
Sorry to hear of more tumours popping up. Is surgery an option?

With these guys health issues and age? I won't. I believe they are all over 2 years old and some are 30 months. Percy had the tumours removed but they came back and a new one with it as well. :/

Last night I had Boris out with me (my healthy neutered boy) and gave him a good feel...I think I felt a large abdominal mass in his belly just below his ribcage :(

Awwww poor guy!

These poor RTR's can't catch a break (health wise - they caught the biggest break when they came to live with you!)

Give him lots of scritches (if he will permit, I can never remember who likes to be touched and who doesn't >.<)

Boris LOVES scritches and pats and body strokes and anything I will give him. :D Toby is still doing okay, Malcolm managed to drag himself into the bottom of the R-695 with his paralyzed hind end last night...he and Toby put themselves to bed LOL

Sorry to hear your 'healthy' boy may have a mass. It must be so discouraging. Just know that even though they were dealt a crappy hand health-wise, they scored BIG TIME when they got you as their mama!!!!

Lets add ear polyps to the mess. Toby let me have a good look inside his ear after it started bleeding again tonight. This would explain Gideons' ear bleeding as well.

Poor Toby. He is going in tomorrow to be pts. :sad3:
