So good to have some uplifting news today. Pats & kisses to Rachel from me.

 

I agree, its great to hear some good news, today has been full of bad news.

Rachael removed her stiches yesterday evening, leaving a gaping hole.
I will be phoning the vet as soon as they open.

Get her glued, since she'll probably just pull out more stitches...was she given an opiate as a painkiller?

Writing this at school .... Rachael was given a metacam injection after surgery.
She has not displayed signs of being in pain.
Was unable to contact the vet prior to my 8:30 class so heading home between classes to do that now.

:hugs: Those girls and ripping out stitches. Don't they know that those are suppoed to help them?

Dropped Rachael off at the vets with Isaac to keep her company.
The vet is completely booked today but will fit Rachael in between appointments.

Oh silly girl!
Jazzy just had her second tumour removal surgery, but usually leaves the stitches in long enough to do their job. We had to actually remove some last week!
I hope Rachael quits messing with her incision.

Poor little Rachael .... She is only about 14 - 15 months old but has been looking quite frail lately ...
This afternoon I discovered that Rachael has another lump.
Her hair has finally all grown back from her previous lump removal ......
I was unaware of it at the time but the previous lump went very deep and was attached,
The vet wasn't sure if she would have the use of her hind leg after the surgry as the tumour had been so invasive, but Rachael recovered beautifully.

This time the lump is behind her front leg.
Like the previous lump, this one goes quite deep.
Hopefully it is unattached and the vet will be able to remove all of it.

It is really hard to wait until I can contact the vet on Monday.

Sorry to hear about Rachael having another tumour. Jazzy is full of tumours after having surgery twice already. I hope you have better luck with Rachael.

Rachael had fun exploring Godmother's play area this evening (we are ratsitting) and she enjoyed some special treats and cuddling.

Joanne, I am so sorry that Jazzy has so many tumors.
I hope that both of you are doing ok. Please give her some cuddles from me :heart:
