It comes to no surprise to me how much our little online rat community has come together to help this poor little girl in need of immediate help.
Our online members, friends... are truly the most wonderful group of people I've ever "met".

Daisy will rest well, she had quite a group of angels looking out for her.

Wow , this is just horrible. That poor dear. Why on earth do people bother getting an animal if they would let them get in that condition. It's sick , and I don't care what any one says , these people do not "have a problem , and need therapy , and help" Who was there to help poor Daisy? If not for the beautiful people on this site , NO ONE. I bet you over 75% of the people that would have taken her from that situation would have let her go in the wild as they could not afford to have her PTS. ARGG. Okay , think good thoughts!

Lilspaz , you are an awesome person for offering (and actually) paying for that. A lot of people right now are low on cash , even on emergency vet funds. And it is a wonderful thing that you offered the money so quickly. It is good to know that I participate in a site with such caring , generous humans.
Jack , Thanks so much for driving. Not only for that , but I am sure Daisy could feel love vibrations coming from you and all who were with her in her last moments. I know it cost you time and gas , somethings that others would not give up for a mere "rat" . :sad3: I am so happy that you volunteered , without hesitation. That shows how great of a person you truly are.
Whoknew , I admire what you did in this situation. Going into a rescue blind to the seriousness , but not regretting it for a second , that shows courage. Many people would have been turned off immediately , just leaving the poor girl as she was. You took her in , and showed her what it was to be loved , if only for a few hours. I am so happy that you had help from the others on here , but if you had not , I am sure you still would have done the right thing.
And thanks to everyone else that helped in any way , even if only prayers. That girl needed someone , and you were all there.

I know what you mean; worse thing is the reason for that person is "I'm a student" that's exactly what she told me. How so many times i hear or read this it is like a students excuse to be one. I really do not care what you are if you did not have the funds for a pet why get one? yeah the sher joy of having a cute cuddly furry pet is why when they think aw i just paid only $10 for this pet its a cheap typed pet :rant: :rant: .

Thanks you guys for taking care of Daisy - you're great!

Now Buttercup has a chance to enjoy the life her sister didn't have. I hope she's feeling better soon, and will get a new buddy to keep her company.

I was hoping that the little girl may have had a chance, but atleast you managed to give her the send off she deserved . The woman that owned her makes me sick to my stomach. she should be ashamed of herself.

Everyone that sorted this whole thing out, even the people in chat giving moral support (i hate the time difference some times ), you are all truely amazing.
