That is an interesting article. It puts insight into My PEW a little better.

My poor cat jumped a lot better never missing prior, lol now he misses quite often.

Eli likes when I sleep on my side with my one arm under my head and the other curled up in front of me...he crawls into that spot and sleeps. Its sooo sweet!

His eye is looking the same if not a bit better today...no swelling, his sneezing is almost gone, still shakes his head sometimes but nothing like before. :)

and he's a greedy little thing still :p

Well MeKist, it looks like your wish is slowly coming true. Eli is doing GREAT! He sleeps overnight with me several times a week, and there's been no health issues at all. He still shakes his head but it seems to be either a habit or something feels funny. There's no more spray  He is definitely blind now...he wanders around high-stepping, bumping into things and then trying to figure out what it is, and how to climb it. :giggle: He still gets just about everywhere he used to, so its really NOT slowing him down at all. He is keeping his eye more closed than before, but when he does open up a bit, the eyeball looks same-sh and smaller to me. I do believe shrinkage in this case is a good thing. :wink2:

We're still managing things for Eli, but I have noticed a lot of weight loss. I am now taking him out and supplementing him on his own...and weighing him every 2 days. He's only364 grams at this point. :undecided:

His eye has really shrunk now and I'll hide the eye pics for people who really want to see it..hehe

poor boy, you can see that he got thin, any ideas what that is from?

I think he was/is adapting to not being able to see anything...and maybe the other boys steal from him, but I don't think so. He's very active now...almost more than before, but I think he's coming out of the tunnel now...he's quite capable of eating...I had him out O/N and left out lots of yummy things for him...and this morning was Ensure, and baby cereal :) He seems happy and healthy, just needs beefing up. Him losing weight looks so much worse than a furred rat.

I spoke to Dr. Munn yesterday about him and the rest of my crews, and discussed our appointment on Friday. For Eli we will watch his weight, and if necessary will add a pain med in that can be given with steroids just in case there's discomfort. If it really comes down to it we will surgically remove what eye is left, but at this point we aren't at that stage yet. I am also using surgical eye lubricant in that eye just because when it dries it probably feels funny which could account for a lot of the headshaking. He doesn't scratch or rub at the eye anymore than anywhere else while grooming.

He LOVES sleeping with me, and a new favourite place is to sleep over my hip/side when I sleep on my side. LOL
