mass intro- Phase 2 and phase 3- partial move in

So Finley knows how to defend himself from bullies cause he's a bully himself. I'd let it be. It almost seemed in the video like Finley didn't mind it so much. Maybe you'll have a bonded pair with those two.

Maybe. He screams so LOUD. In that video is just a fraction of what he does. I take finley out and put him in another hammock tily boy runs after him lol it is crazy.

I dreaded this intros for a long time because I couldnt figure out how to get them out easily. I put two groups in two carriers and then carried my oldies out. I managed to get them all out alone! Amazing! I let isis participate for a bit today but not to long my poor girl is old and I dont wanna stress her out. Algernon is left out totally for now, I will bring him in the mix later. Since I still have the 3 neutered boys to put in the mix but they need time to heal.

What my dogs do during intros. Not sure why Nahla has the need to lay on zoey but she always does.

In the typical fashion of my girls they were the only ones who were puffy. Bindi is 26 months old. I put her up early because she is aging.

I gave them hidey houses right away. There was one little boxing session and it was with John and Perry, which they always do it. Romeo stepped up to investigate it.

Edgar was puffy but he did it to the dog.

So cash completed weeks of abs for his ear infection but his tilt stayed. So he does everything a bit differently than before LOL but man does it make for funny pictures.

Here I thought my pikachu outgrew her urge to get on the floor. I put her up early because she was the only one to figure out how to get off the couch.

The dog seen someone outside so she whimpered. All rats scattered to a box. Talk about loud and fast LOL

We have to do the couch for a while because my groups are so large. Finley is a bit paranoid, I still have Ringo, paul and George to add to the mix. Lucy and Algernon as well. So once they have a few days to heal I will start the full on intros with all.

But honestly I am impressed with my crews. I know the trouble makers that i do have but most of them are just easy going rats. So far they are making this incredibly easy.

I say your brave anyway despite you may not intro your troublemakers yet lol! Maybe im saying this cause my first and currently last intro went so horribly lethely wrong that i can't bare to do another intro ever unless I have another person with me to help with supervising. But your brave to me for the fact you have confidence in such a large group getting along! Haha that is funny. After my intros with temple and dopey. I said that same thing. You learn from your bad intros so make sure you are doing that and not letting fear grow. Since the intros I said I stop I quit I have done at least 16 more. I haved had these guys for two years for some. I know them so well that I can tell who will be a peoblem in a short period. The more you do them the less fear you have wth intros. I have the rexzilla I will never intro to males my other boys all do well. I am still learning the music men but I had the 3 problem boys neutered. Mine are easier because they are mixed sex colonies.

I figured some of the boys would not adjust well to the intros once back in the cage I know it causes havoc with some males. Poor little Sendai has fought with Sebastian and Tart so far. Poor fella I guess he is the next neuter LOL

So he has now fought with all the boys in the group. The ones he is getting were sleeping so I know they didnt start it. I am on hold now with setting up a neuter. Eagle is bringing me 4 girls when she comes up so I have their spays scheduled for the 19th and he shall go with them. Right now i have him in a Rabbit cage so he can simmer down a bit. I will figure out what to do with him in a bit LOL He has always been skittish but damn he wasnt much of a fighter. I know that the intros cause this but I was hopeful lol poor guy.

I just need to look at these pictures every time I get nervous about getting MY "big" intro done. It's just 5 boys, 4 of them already in a group and the 5th one neutered. I don't think I have enough eyes, let alone hands, to pull off such a big intro!

On a side note, do you know each of them well enough to tell them apart? Knowing my luck, I'd get someone confused and put them back in the wrong cage.

I do, I can tell them all apart. Some I have to pick up to do it but it works. I also know all their attitudes I have done a ton of intros with these guys so I know how and who will be ok and who will clash. We spend alot of time with our groups so I have learned a lot about them all. I am doing intros constantly. If a rat isn't happy in a group I make them happy.

Since tonight is Romeo/sendai's all night out time. I went ahead and put him back in the group. He was alone for 8 hours while i worked and I just cannot have that. I remember why i pulled him. Long day LOL I have never seen him so freaked out and scared. He was sided stepping romeo then they boxed but his noise from his teeth chattering was so loud. I knew leaving him at that current state would be bad. I can hear them from the other room but not from work 3 blocks down LOL. Romeo was dead asleep when he attacked him, and then ran around the cage screaming. He is something else. Eagle swears it is because i named him Sendai LOL

He has always been scared of me, super skittish, screams when you pick him up but he was improving a bit. I figured since he was with his group and happy I went for my biter rats first for neuters. Now with this he is going up first. I feel bad for not getting him done sooner but I kinda went on a neuter boycott after fred passing and he was one i wanted done. I think I have all the biters that need to be done so I can move onto my skittish boy. So far he is really the only one left.

Oh ya, that chattering is clear indication that the boy is about to explode. A neuter and no unsupervised playtime for him. Poor thing, can't feel too good being that stressed out.

I think i will keep sendai out of the intro for now. I will have to do more intro later so i will just wait to intro him then. Crappy but he is to stressed.

Poor little guy, hope he settles down too. And ya after losing Dax I don't want to neuter any of my other boys either, though I think it would do some good to neuter my other boy Nes just cause he's still challenging everyone during playtime, but I'd rather wait a month or 2 and see if he settles down later on. I dunno, I know waiting could be bad for all my boys but it could mean he'll settle down too. He just turned 5months today too.

Yesterday we did about 45 minutes today only 30 minutes since I have two cages to clean.

There was a bit of sniffing today. Tart is sniffing tweek and he is doing it back.

The rat room is in the direction they are facing lol

Cash was sniffing Bart. My bartie is such a love bug he just licked him.

I am so happy that black hooded at least have different stripes if not I would need a lot of sharpies.

My old girl pika, she was kind enough to teach 3 boys how to get off the couch. So needless to say I put her up LOL

Sadly my music men have some injuries Flea has a split ear from the mean boys and bowie the one with the mini eye in the picture he came that way. It does help me tell those 5 apart though.

Finley still kinda hangs off in the back he still isnt happy about this. Other than that not one puffy boy, my girls dont count since they alway puff up at the boy smell. No boxing or noise either. They really blend well on the couch kinda scary lol

My biggest concerns were the music men. Since I dont know them as well as my others. I have done so many intros with the others I am comfortable with them. I know when we hit the floor it will be a bit different but maybe not. I have had intros with some of these where they never did argue who was alpha.
