Issa is aging fast...she's older than we thought, and also might have an internal tumor affecting her back end (which is what made me think she was so weak). She's still running and climbing though :)

She is on dex every 2-3 days now along with the bromocriptine.

Diagnosed January 9th so we have had over 2 months of quality time with the end not in sight yet...I am pleased.

Bad news, my spayed girl Issa is bleeding vaginally. Things make sense now...her losing weight suddenly, her hindquarters and hind legs being weak, she probably has an invasive tumour somewhere. Poor sweet Isabella. :sad3:

Poor girl :( you have had a lot more time with her because of the Bromocriptine than you thought though....*hugs*

Oh no... could this be a side effect of the Bromo? Maya bled vaginally as well but we assumed it was the uterine tumour. She was also on bromo.

I think she had the funny back end soon after I diagnosed her with PT, either before the bromo or just after. I will let Dr Munn know though and see if there's a comment. We will know more after Issa goes and I have her necro'd.

I will be curious to know if this was a side effect to the Bromo, as Hannah is on the Caber

The main reason why Cabergoline is the preferred choice is because of the fewer side effects.

Thats why both me and my vet picked this one.

Spaz, I really hope you can help Issa! good luck :hugs:
