Ok more kids going HOME! Always love that. I've always picked my kids from LittleMischiefRescue since they came into being but a couple times littledevils has asked if I'd take someone and every time they fit like a glove with no intros even needed and no fitting-in problems everafter. Maybe when you work with critters long enough you sharpen your instincts sense.

Wow :shock: Quite the ordeal you two have gone through, and I am sooo happy to see her healing up so nicely now!!
Don't worry, whether our judgment knows better or not, we all care way too much about our babies to not freak out a little bit. lol

I'm happy to announce that Cocoa is ALMOST completely healed!!!!
She just has a little bit of scab left

Unfortunately she has managed to drop about 20 grams of weight in the past week... And I'm not sure why. I'm pretty sure she has been eating. Her food is disappearing, so I don't think I have anything to worry too much about. But I am going to have to watch that. She is far too old to decide that she needs to diet

She is acting ok as well, so hopefully she is ok...
Anyone know anything that I should be concerned about?

That's good news, but make sure she doesn't lose anymore weight. Add some yummy baby cereal to her diet.

That's funny. I too had a rat do that... Her spot grew back with lot of little white hairs and she was a black rat.

It is sooooooo cute! I didn't think that that would happen to rats. Come to think of it ... why wouldnt it? It just gives her more character... she is my old lady Set in her ways. I'll have to try and get a picture.

I'm so happy she made it through this and is fully healed. I was so scared at one point that she wasnt gonna get better.

She still is down in wieght about 10 grams... could she just be losing? I stopped giving her baby cereal and I was weighing her at the same time of the day. I dunno. She seems to be eating ok. I just dont know whats happening. this is over a period of a couple weeks (i think - i have been so busy that I don't really remember when this all started, i should have written somcething down)

Keep an eye on her weight. You don't want her losing anymore, you might have start up her baby cereal again.
