Aww I hope u guys find homes for all the babies, I'd help but I have only one spot available in the cage ( I rather not push it and three of my girl's are real B**** with the new one's so I have them separated)

I wish all the best to those babies tho!

okay, sent a message, but until then, here are my babies: (full album http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v416/ ... %20babies/ )

That HART rescue that she was talking to before, she ended up telling them that she did not feel comfortable leaving the baby rats at a cat rescue that only had rabbit cages (wanted her to make a cage to leave with them  ) and now they are e-mailing her asking where she went, why she hasn't dropped them off kind of thing, that they already have homes for all of them and some people already bought cages for the babies, but she told them before that she was not bringing them......any advice? She even told them that she wanted to meet the adopters, so if there was anyone interested to give them her e-mail (before she told them never mind) Seems kind of strange to me :?

Yeah... me too... my second ever rat, Picolo, was a fawn. He was my heart rat. Since I adopted him, I have a sweet spot for fawns, but they don't come by the dozen in my area!

I would advise her to stick to her guns. If the HART rescue has people lined up, then they should be more than happy to give the potential adopters her e-mail address so they can contact her directly. It's a lot less work, so why wouldn't they? Something's fishy...

She said she is going to "take them to a pet store if they are not all gone by sept 2nd" So I would convince her to give them to a rescue...........pet store equals snakes bellies.

I have a few videos I could post, lol, to make people want them more, but instead I will ask if anyone wants to see them, lol. They are so sweet and innocent, and she is doing her best postponing that cut off date, but she cannot keep them forever......

Pack that little fawn boy up! :giggle:

Seriously, I wish I could take a pair, as I apparently have a soft spot for Maritimes rats (all my current boys came from either New Brunswick (Hunter and Tanner) or Newfoundland (Chester)), but with Tanner still trotting along to my complete surprise and total happiness, I am already over my (low) limit. Need to put some money aside before I take more rats in, as it cost me two arms and two legs in vet bills this year, with huge surgeries and aging guinea pigs. :?
