Oxygen concentrators do not rely on tanks. That is why they are a great option for people who need oxygen 24/7. Medical grade concentrators are quite expensive as they have to pass rigid criteria. Hobby grade concentrators are less expensive. I have purchased my concentrators from Artistry in Glass, which is in London, Ontario. All you need is a plug. It pulls oxygen from the air and concentrates it. The higher the flow/pressure, the more expensive. Artistry also has 'scratch and dent' concentrators which are even less expensive.
