Little girl is still bleeding ...
I am syringe feeding her as I am very worried .... she is so tiny

:sad3: :sad3:
Sending lots of good vibes to her. Get better little one.

Edit: If you haven't already named them, I was thinking Ivy for the sick little un and Gemma for the other. I hate them not having names.

I have given sub-Q fluids twice, spoken to the emergency vet on call twice,
Given her formula & baby cereal twice (so far), and cuddled her for hours stroking her head

She is fairly nonresponsive .... she didn't even move when I inserted the needle in order to give her sub-Q fluids.
I would have paid for an emergency spay today but there was no vet available who could do one.

Hang in there sweet baby girl ....

She is scheduled for a spay in the morning ....

I went to pick up my mother and came home to make up meds.
When I checked on Ivy, she was dead. :sad3:

This should never have happened.
Ivy should have been spayed on Friday .... I wish I had insisted
Wish I had checked on her earlier today and found out she was so dehydrated, maybe sub-Q fluids would have made a difference if started earlier ...
This will be a shock to her previous owner as Ivy didn't start bleeding until late Thursday evening, several hours after I arrived home with the 3 ratties.
This should never have happened .... :cry4:

I am SO sorry!!
Please don't feel like losing Ivy is your fault.
You have done and did more than the average person.
It seems to me that this poor sweetie had this problem way before she found you.
Ivy knew what it felt to be loved and wanted.
I wish there were more people like you in the world. :cuddle:
R.I.P. Ivy.
Your life may have been short but it mattered.
Play hard little girl.

I am so sorry. Poor little Ivy probably would not have survived a spay with that kind of infection and bleeding, but it is hard to think that she did not get the chance.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that  It's so sad to lose one suddenly, especially when they never really got a fighting chance. Play hard dear one.

Do not beat yourself up Holly, little Ivy probably would not have survived teh surgery on Friday, she was probably too weak at that point./ I am very very sorry.

Poor little Ivy. :sad3:
Please don't blame this on yourself. You did everything perfectly for her, and she knew it.
I wish I could have gotten to meet you little one.

I'm so very sorry :sad3: You did everything you could.

I also agree with what has already been said...she probably would not have survived the spay.
