What’s on his eye?

I noticed today. It looks like my rat has a stye on his bottom eyelid? Or a cyst? I don’t know how to care for it, or even what it is. If anyone has any advice or tips I would appreciate it

I personally can't tell from the pic (maybe someone more experienced with this sort of thing can) but it looks like just porphorine (the red stuff that looks like blood) to me. Rats naturally secrete this from eyes, and nose. But like I said, maybe I'm missing something. SQ or Lilspaz may know more. Cute baby though!

It does look like a stye. You can try compressing with a damp hot cloth and see if it brings the infection to.the surface. These pop drain and are done.
