two small lumps, either side of the penis?

Well tarts was empty so you can tell if their testicle is misplaced.. I have seen a ton of abcess there I would start baytril if yoou have it that will bering it to a head.

I don't have any Baytril at the moment. he's just coming to the end of his Septrin course.

but I'm trying to get an appointment tomorrow.

Godmother and I had three brothers several years ago (Adam, Monroe & Noah).
Two of the boys each had one undecended testicle.
They were neutered. I was told by a vet that if the undecended testicles were not removed, there would be a high risk of cancer.

he does seem to have SOMETHING in the sack not much though. although in that picture it doesn't look that way.
they don't feel very mobile, like they have the potential to go down into the sack.
but like I say, he's a small ball boy, except on hot days.
we've got an appointment in about half an hour, and I'm writing some of these things down to tell the vet about.

the symmetry is hopeful.

just an example of how un-testically he usually looks.

he doesn't have much following him around at the back.
*and he thought you all should see his face, after so closely peering at his nads  *

good news is, they've already gone down a little bit. the vet was confident that it's probably some swelling to the preputial glands, and to monitor them to make sure the swelling continues to go away.

they also said he was in really good condition. which is always nice.
and the receptionist even commented on what a pretty colour he is.

Did these appear while he was on the meds ? Bindi is allergic to doxy aand her glands swell up when she is on it.

yay! :joy: I'm glad it's not serious!

well the smaller lump is gone. and the larger one hasn't changed much, but just today I found a crusty patch on it, so hopefully that's a sign it's coming to a head or something.

his condition isn't too great right now, but I think that's down to his resp. flare up he's having. poor little guy is a martyr to his respiratory tract.

speaking of which I must retrieve the crusts of toast that are all in the bookcase where he took them and I let him because he's a bit underweight at the moment. before they go manky.

he'll be staying with my Mum next weekend. here's hoping she doesn't cuddle all his fur off. very obvious case of favouritism there  she's always sneaking him out for cuddles when we visit with the rats.

REALLY good news. the crusty bit must have been it coming to a head, because now the larger lump has gone. a little bit crusty where the lump was, but no obvious opening on the site. I'll wash it down a few times a day with warm salt water just to make sure that he doesn't get reinfected there, but I'm feeling really relieved to see the back of that.

I'm thinking that being back on baytril must have helped zap it too.
