I don't keep them on medicine longer than 14 days usually unless they're still rattling. A steroid injection then oral meds usually works... I don't want them immune to the meds.

 

That's great. My vet now recommends up to 2 and 3 months on meds. And I have noticed that it works better for mine. After one month they were fine for a while but had to be back on meds in a month or so.

I think this is what my vet is going to recommend, as I know only giving a 15 day course of antibiotics usually ends up with the infection coming back, as more long term does not.

Toby is still going strong, just the occasional sneeze.

He is super happy though
