Were you given any metacam? He sounds uncomfortable. (sorry if you already mentioned meds or lack thereof, I didn't see anything)

nope he was not given any, my vet told me to come back tomorrow if he needs some ..toby is walking around fine, eating and sleeping good, so do you think he needs it?

It's like that but not near as bad ..you can't see his sides go in, more like he puts his feet far back and stretches

When I had my other boy done he never done this, but he waas only neutered, Toby was neutered and had a spot removed from his scrotum.

You never know. He may not be feeling pain, but he probably is tender or a bit sore, if it goes on much longer, I dont think meds would hurt just incase he is sore, sometimes they dont show it.

I try to do pain meds (metacam specifically) for a week post op with spays. Neuters can be just as painful, or, like with spays, sometimes they barely notice by the second day. The less they hurt the less they want to chew/pull at the wound, though.

Rats can experience severe abdominal cramping for up to 3 days after a spay or neuter so pain meds like metecam are very important to give for several days after surgery. Plus it is major surgery ... of course they are in pain and need pain meds.

Toby is doing much better since he has metacam :)

Toby is still doing well. He is up going around alot more than he was for the first few days after surgery. He does well on his play dates with his brothers. He has his check up Thursday, then I may put him back with his brothers :)

Toby sends sniffs & kisses :)
Yes, he will be letting us know that tomorrow when we go for a check up.
