Absolutely do NOT keep any wild mice. It's like catching a deer in the woods and putting it on a leash! Mice are very resourceful.
There may be a wild rat in my apartment! (or two?!)

Ohhh okay, so it's all right to let them go, then? x_x The only reason why I was thinking of keeping them was because I was under the impression that they were something like our pet rats, and wouldn't be able to survive in the wild. 
I wasn't thinking, 'Gosh, they're so cute, I should keep them without concern for their happiness' LOL!
@handmeafish: That's pretty much what they look like, except they're all one colour! Cute little buggers, aren't they? XD
This morning, I went into my room (I slept in the living room because it was so hot lol), and saw them frozen in the middle of my room floor, staring at me. When I stepped in and closed the door behind me, they jumped like they'd seen a ghost and ran back into their hole. Grrr.

Don't forget that these mice are WILD. Your rats are domesticated. If you had caught a wild rat, you definitely would not be keeping it! So these little guys know perfectly well how to survive and find food and shelter.
Even most feral cats can't be kept as pets even though they are 'domesticated' because they are too wild.
