My wee Hopper crossed the bridge tonight. 19 months young and his little body just gave out. He was born into a horrible body but had the soul of an amazing little man rat. His momma Noel has 5 babies that had problems, 2 passed before 3 weeks old the other 3 survived even though I never thought they would. They were a fraction of the size of their litter mates who were normal. Lilly, Turtle and Hopper were the smallest and worst off of them all. After time they caught up with the rest and just thrived. I will miss my sweet boy I cannot even begin to say how sad my heart is right now. At the same time I was blessed to have these guys in my life. Play hard at the bridge Hopper, I will never forget your sweet face.

I have a hard time looking in the cage. I would count 1 pew, 2 black hoodeds and 3 black berk........now my counting is all messed up and I for whatever reason have done it constantly since we had them. I just always counted them

The videos are on the first post of the babies when they were actually babies but they have all hit 2 now. Sadly I lost another sibling today, Maggie who was born to faith.
Turtle passed away a few weeks ago but we still have Roo, Lily, Liam and Willow. My willow is the strongest still runs up the ramps of her cage and still climbs the bars with her little crooked body. Irish is their brother born in the last litter with Turtle. He has had a horrible run with PT and he is doing good today. He is running all around wanting attention constantly. They 4 handicap rats have been reunited with Irish and katara their siblings. Katara had 2 tumors removed and cannot have it removed again and it is back Poor Liam has pulmonary abscesses i believe his breathing is looking rough. Lily is a constant battle with urine scald but they are doing good other wise.

We mixed up two packages of ginger bread cookies and put it all on a cookie sheet LOL i am not much of a baker and this was easy enough
