OMFG!!!!! So I get home after being away for 1.5-ish days (since yesterday afternoon) and I go to check on my ratties and I notice that there are some red poops in the bottom of the cage! I'm HOPING it's just because my dad apparently gave them like a TON of fruit and veggies this morning. (including an apple and some red pepper among other things)
I'm going to go crazy. >_< I don't know who it's from either. It doesn't look like blood, and they are normal consistency, so I'm just thinking maybe one of them just didn't react too well to one of the red colored foods and it just went right through her.
Ugh, too many issues lately. :'(
On another note, Bijoux doesn't seem to be in any pain from what I can see right now, and her incision site on the top of her head looks fabulous. It's funny because she now has a bald spot on the top of her head where they shaved her.
Here is a picture of Bijoux I just took! She is running around the bed and acting 100% better, no signs of pain at all. ^_^
The incision site on the top of her head looks just like a small cut now, and there is no redness or swelling! Super happy about this. :')
*edit- Bijoux is DEFINITELY feeling wayyy better. She is bright and alert and has marked me about 5 times since I've had her out lol (which has been like 15 minutes), and she hasn't marked me at all since I first got the other two girls MONTHS ago. She either is feeling way better, or really missed me, or both, LOL. She is giving me tons of kisses. She must be happy!
Great to hear she has bounced back well.
And some foods do just pass through without much 'processing'.
When my kids have a lot of carrots, they have orange poop. LOL
I'm not sure if it could have been a cyst. Maybe? I guess we'll never know. :|
My dad gave them carrots yesterday too so maybe that's it. They were like orangey/red. (mixed with the red pepper and the apple that probably did it, lol)
