What are the subtle signs of a pituitary tumor before the obvious ones appear?

A looseness in movements and in grasping ability, slight clubbing of paws, a bit of confusion, an involuntary head lift, more bruxxing than usual.

Is more bruxxing a telltale sign?

And could sudden incontinence be a sign?

Loesje is vibrating her whiskers in a particular way. Is this normal?

Bruxxing alone is just a minor symptom. Incontinence is not. Watch her whiskers and her eyes from the front to see if they are twitching in unison (could mean seizures or nystagmus)

Could incontinence also be associated with an ear infection?

Nope. Unless the rat is very old, incontinence isn't too common. UTI, or severe illness/disability.
