So I adopted my first two male rats about 10months ago now, and my one furbaby, Grunkle, was constantly showing aggressive behaviour (mounting, some extreme fighting, etc) to my other boy, Nesquik. I recently adopted a rescue, Momo, who's only about 8 weeks old, and they are all in the same cage now and getting along fine with only some small dominance squabbles. I booked an appointment with my vet to get Grunkle neutered because I was afraid that he would constantly attack the new baby but, ever since Momo has been with them, he completely stopped showing any aggressive behaviour. So, to me, I dont think I really need to neuter Grunkle anymore but should I still do it anyway? I don't want to have to put him under surgery if it's not completely needed and none of the other boys are neutered either.
