PREGNANT RAT!

She’s super pregnant and about to pop! I got her about 4 days ago and she didn’t look this pregnant when I got her, (I did not know she was pregnant until a few days ago) her nipples are very visible and i moved her into a nursery cage where she is nesting, but I do not know how far along she is. When do you guys think I should be expecting little babies? Her stomach has been moving a LOT lately.

Rats gain weight in their last week of pregnancy so within the next few days

Give her strips of paper towel for nest building
Make sure there are no levels, or hammocks, or anything with threads in it (threads can wind around little limbs & necks) ,,,,, paper towel and fleece are ok

If you see movement visibly then she should give birth in 24-48 hours. I hope the labour is easy and fast for her.
