Pray hard for my baby. It looks bad.

He has not been himself for the last couple of days and his breathing is not good. We increased the meds a week ago, but they are not helping.

He has an appointment tonight at 7pm.

He wanted to be held this morning but was not finding a comfortable position. I elevated my arm and he parked himself over it with his head in a downward position. This was the same position Albert found comfort in while he was in respiratory distress.

Buddy is not there yet, but he is too close for comfort. I will do what is necessary to help my boy. He is tired and disinterested. It is painful to watch. :tearful:

Please keep my boy in your thoughts and prayers. My precious little trooper. There is nothing nastier than Myco. :sad3:

Thank you very much for the well wishes! My little man is still with me!!! :bunnydance:

He is doing worse than before, but he made it fairly clear to Dr. Richards that he was not ready to go to the Bridge. :cheeky:

Baytril, Doxy and Lasix have now been replaced with Zithro, Aminophyllin and Lasix with a recheck in 14 days.

There is not much airway movement in his chest cavity which indicates that this thing over his heart has grown. Let's hope the new assortment of meds helps that.

He is also on a diet! The little pork chop gained 30 grams in the last 3 weeks so he can now forget his second soy yogurt helping with olive oil. His teklad block is also only half of one. It was a rough morning for the little man when he figured out that no more breakfast was coming.

He was extremely happy to get home last night and wanted nothing more than to dive into his fleece lined box from the post office.

I cuddled with him at the vet's office and he spent his time licking my fingers and accepting his kisses and scritches. :love6:

God willing, my boy will hopefully be able to spend Christmas with me. If not, then at least we have a little more time before he joins his friends at the Rainbow Bridge.

He crashed in my purse last night and I was able to get a couple of pictures before he figured out what I was doing and took off. I will upload them this weekend.

I promised him, this morning, that I would not buy myself a piece of chocolate cake since he didn't get to have his second helping of yogurt...

Am I regretting my promise to Buddy? You bet... it's HARD!

Will I keep my promise to Buddy? You bet... it's called solidarity! :D

Thank you so much everyone (hi Dan... welcome to the Rat Shack!!! Great to have you here! :bunnydance: )

Buddy is still breathing heavily, but he was relatively chipper this weekend (when he wasn't "crashed" in my arm!)

He boggled up a storm this evening. I thought his little eyes would pop out of his head!

As promised, I was able to shoot some pictures of him.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMH TEA!!!!!

What's this? A PURSE!!!!

Great to snooze in...

AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! Mom's sweatshirt sleeve is made for crashing!

Please continue to keep him in your prayers. His breathing is still scary and I don't know how much longer I will have him. :sad3: Whatever the case, he will continue to get whatever he wants or needs. He saw a lot of scritch and cuddle time this weekend. It helps him relax (as in the last pic) He was parked like that for almost 20 minutes. :love6:

I wish his body could feel as good as his emotions must! I wish his body was as strong and flawless as your love for him. Knowing how precious he is is going to take him as far as he is willing to go.
