Trauma to the nose can cause swelling too. Day 2 is the worst for swelling before it starts to subside again. Hopefully the breathing issues are temporary and will improve as time goes on.

Sorry to hear about your Moses, SQ. I understand how scary this is for you because we had a pretty scary cut to deal with last week with our rats.
Will send more healing vibes your way (cuz I know there have been many other send already ).

Moses is doing better. He is feeling good enough to eat.
He ate his piece of boiled egg this morning.
He has gained 5 g since yesterday so he is doing better and on the mend.
