More neuters --Test results.....

Loki and Algernon go in tomorrow for surgery on their testicles to see what the problem is in there. They are 2 of the 4 remaining boys that need exploratory from the neuter job in march.

Loki yeah cant wait to find out what is hiding in here.

Algernon he keeps swelling up huge due to infection of some sort.... it feels like something is in there but not sure what!

Some how they seem to think they should only pay for the spays or the repair surgeries but i refuse to settle for that considering it is all the effect from her touching my boys. I will go to court before I will pick what damage I eat due to her screwing up. Complication on one rat ok, but 5? seriously? how can you even say that? that is not complications that is a major screw up on her part.

I am telling the vet to test the tissue again so i can have documentation on what is in there.

I hate this because loki is getting older now he is a year and halfish older than i prefer to have surgeries on but I have no choice.

We leave at the crack of dawn to get them there again let's hope it doesnt snow and it goes well!

I'm sorry .. I must have missed previous posts on this situation. Sounds like it's been awful! I wish you and your two guys the best tomorrow. Hope all goes well and that they're back in the saddle in no time.

Loki and Algernon are at the vets now having their repair/exploratory surgery done. Of course I wake up to our first snow fall and the roads were terrible the whole drive. It took me about 30 minutes longer to get there since I couldn't go over 40 half the drive.

I explained what is going on to him and he was shocked that her insurance would tell me that. I told him I dont want to pay for a testing if there isn't anything to test in there.

Now I wait for the call to get them. I really hate this waiting game. I have been a bundle of nerves since loki is a bit older, he isnt old but he is older than I like to have surgeries on unless totally needed.

I just heard from the vet. It was the actual vet on the phone. I was terrified when I heard his voice. I thought I lost one! normally it is the techs that call me. He said Algernon had a hernia but no testicle. Loki had a hernia and a mess of fat coming through and what appears to be a testicle. He took it out, took a picture and send it off to be tested.

Seriously? I am livid.....he said Loki was a worse than Templeton was. They had to keep him under longer so they are going to make me wait till later to pick them up. they said he was oozing a bit more so he needs to be watched longer.

They took pictures I am going to see if they will email them to me so i can share! I leave here in about 2 hours to go get them for now i need to eat..My nerves are shot.

LOL marie! It was not as bad as i thought, it was just pulled out of the body. It looked less horrible than I thought it would! I hate gory stuff! Takes my testicle pictures to a new meaning! now i have them with no skin on it! LOL
