They don't know for sure yet, but probably at least 1,5 years, maybe 2.
 
It's been a week since surgery now, and Frida is doing great! She's acting as if nothing ever happened, and her wound is healing nicely. She also really liked the antibiotics and pain killers, at least when I mixed them with some other tasty food, so medicating her ended up being easy peasy :)
 
Just a quick update. Frida is as good as new, the surgery wound healed perfectly.

Both my rats seems a bit more lazy after getting the Suprelorin-implant, but I'm not sure whether it's because of the implant or just because they're getting older (not old, though :) ). But nevertheless, it doesn't matter, they're in good health and seem happy and content :)
