Another stab in the dark is that she got bitten by an insect (sore) and the swollen red paws/nose are a systemic allergic reaction. do you have any liquid benadryl?

And the ears is irrelevant, it's what happened to my rat who died.
This one's ears are fine. They only had the blood red stained paws/nose in common.

its too much of a coincidence that a prior rat had most of the same symptoms. How long ago did that rat die and how soon did you get the new rats?
Same petstore? If so, same genetic lines/family maybe.
