It's just even when they come out I have no way of catching them. I have one live trap out , and the slightest movement and pOof they are running and gone. Any trap suggestions?

If you see them coming out the hole, have something nearby (even just a bit of cardboard) to quickly block the hole they are going in. It will be a lot easier if you keep them in that room but get the hole blocked off. Don't let the person that is coming today properly block the hole up.

You need to have a really good look at the wall and see exactly where and how they are getting in. Block it with something they definitely can't get by. Do you have a cage that they can go in when you get them - with small enough bar spacing?

I swear those holes were sealed up tight. And no I don't, just the one cage and the large cage that they were staying in with sneezeres. I left that bottom door open hoping they go back tO him.

Well you will definitely need to find a cage that is completely safe for them or they'll just keep escaping. :/ Even if you just buy a cheap hamster cage right now, then look into getting a more suitable cage. Is the big cage safe for them?

You have to remember that they will be really scared, they are just babies and they don't know you or the house yet. You will need to give them time to come out. If they are definitely still in the wall, could you put some nice food at the very front of the hole and some more just out of the hole to try encourage them out? I don't really know what else to suggest, I really hope you get them back.

Well the travel cage is a hamster cage that's why I'm shocked she got out. I guess I'll just wait and hope they just keep coming out? **** I dunno what to do my place isn't even a apartment anymore and I'm beyond tired and frustrated.

Yeah I'm sure they are in the wall which one I'm not sure there are footprints at both. From there there's no where to go its just a small living room in my apartment

As much as I don't agree with letting a large adult male meet up with tiny tiny babies this early, they already have so you can use Sneezers as the bait rat now and HIS cage.

I'm hoping he will be the one to get them back. I never would have out sneezers with babies if I didn't know him so well that he wouldn't hurt a fly. And sure enough they bonded. Well like I said I need trap ideas. Anything?

Well GOOD NEWS< Both my babies are now safe and sound and back in a cage that is stronger then fort knoks so woohoo :D

I took part of the day off work and made a DIY Humane Trap to catch them, for one I got lucky she got startled and feel into a box WIN!, the other got trapped by my homemade trap.. I did such a good job I encourage anyone to use my contraption.

I made a SPECIAL youtube video Detailing the step by step process to make your own. Enjoy, share and hope this helps anyone else out there.

You have my permission to make this a thread or facebook share of its own as I think it could help a lot of people.

Thanks for all the help :D

I shared your video on FB. It's really inspiring! And I totally understand the video which that says a lot cause I get confused easily. lol

That is awesome and I totally didnt believe it was you till the end. OMG you have a total radio/narrator voice! I am glad you got the girls back. I suggest a martins playpen for out time :)

:joy: So glad to hear they are safe! I watched the video on FB before I knew it was yours. I almost cried at the end because of how sweet it was to hear you say "I finally got my little girl." Something about men and rats...
