Little shy

[Trixie&Clara]

Hiya, so I have two female rats. My one rat Trixie is playful happy and naughty and we have a second rat which is Clara and she’s very shy. When both are let out the cage; trixie will run and cause trouble and Clara will slowly walk somewhere and just hide. Both rats are about 10 weeks old; Trixie is quite big and we are happy with her size but Clara is so much smaller she seems to be a ‘runt’ we love them both dearly but we are worried if something may be wrong with Clara or is this normal? Also to add Clara squeaks a lot not so much when picking her up but even when she’s sleeping.

Do you know why she hides, is because of noise or is she afraid of you?

To help with the squeaking, my male rat, Bandit, who is about a year and a half old, also squeaks/moans in his sleep. He also paws sometimes. My thought is just that he's dreaming - when he wakes up he's fine.
