Here are the Bronlings at 5 days old (1 day younger than my present crew) They were a little less developed, as there was 13 in the litter and both Megan and Dwynn were PEW. Notice the space between the anus and genitals, girls are close together, boys are twice as long.

Yeah Shelagh thats what i saw on baby 8, girl bits lol. I suppose the angle of the photo is crucial at this stage. You probably have the better idea because you can see them either way they move lol

From the last pictures I have to say they look like boys....none are as close together as my baby girls where at that age.....Mine was so close the holes almost touched........
The only one to me that looks iffy is #5...MIGHT be girl but I am really starting to think all boys.

Wow... I never realized normal rexes could look like double rexes in terms of just having peach fuzz!

Maybe some of her babies will then have the same type of fur coat?

I know nothing about identifying genders though, so to me they all look roughly similar!

I keep seeing boys too, and the ones on the line are just TOO close to tell. I give up! I throw in the towel! No more guessing for Moon!

Hahaha...I KEEP saying that, but its driving me MAD. I don't wanna wait for nipples! *whine*

Suck it up missy you only need to wait a week, 7 short days, 168 hours, 10080 mins, 604800 seconds do I need to go on.

Well they are starting to think that they all look like boys. When I first sexed them the day after their birth...I thought all boys and then said No way! Then I started second-guessing myself. What shall I do with 8 boys??

Send them by special delivery to England :)

From the last picture, they all look boys to me! The earlier pictures I had a harder time telling (not good with sexing via pictures! but give me a just born in hand and I can tell you. go figure! lol), but these ones definitely look all boys. Part of it is not just the spacing, but the baculum (what makes the urethra stick out more on boys than girls, this is one of the main traits we use to sex wild rodents because outside of breeding season, which wild rodents have, they don't walk around with a full scrotum!). In that last set of pictures, it looks like all of them have the baculum, while in earlier pictures it looked like some of them had the baculum, but the spacing was smaller.

It can happen to get all boys or all girls. That's just the genetics roll of the dice. I had one litter almost two years ago that had 9 babies: 8 boys and 1 girl.

And my how those babies are growing! :)

All boys *swoons* I may have to take one, I don't know how well the boys will except just Marcel by himself he may need a buddy to be re-introed...

Edit: By Wednesday we should know the sexes for sure without a doubt!!

I don't know if this will be ANY help (apples and oranges maybe??) but if it is...here ya go.

These were my rescue babies when they were around 10-12 days old. I had to have help too.

You will just have to give them all gender neutral names :laugh4:

Good thing I don't name them right away, I wait til the eyes are open and the personality is starting to develop :)

Today's pics were more just for fun

Lilith loves her food, maybe too much? She sure isn't losing condition with this litter.
