Awe I miss having little bubbers around. As for the whiskers you do have some slightly curly ones so if it is anything like Lissy's babies were I ended up with rex, "poor rex" and standard coats. Lissy was a poor rex and daddy was a rex.

There was a big debate over Joanne's rexy bubs on Goosemoose amongst the breeders and one of the suggestions were that a double rex rat only contributes a rex gene...just a single rex gene. Soo when you cross with a standard you get some standard and some rex. To get double rex, you need a rex gene from both parents. Sorry Mekist. :cheeky:

It has thrown all the genetics theories out of whack.
With Jani, it was decided that she is a hairless and a rex. But because she is hairless, we can't see the rex which is a dominant gene so you can't carry it. Jani can't be a double rex, she doesn't have one stitch of hair.

There's so many coat types of double rexes now, and then there's the genetic hairless as well.

::chuckles:: Oh, I don't mind if our genetics predictions was completely wrong - to me, as long as they're healthy and happy, then that's all I could want. Them not being rexes/double rexes doesn't make me love them any less!

Lilith got put on the couch with Emmy and Clare (formerly Snake) whom she had lived with and just met, respectively. She was a happy silly baby again...it was wonderful to watch! :joy:

Clare on the left was supposed to be a vicious biter, but she loves to snuggle beside your neck and for you to kiss her. Every once in awhile she forgets and gives me a light nip, but quickly starts licking me instead.
Emmy is a former snakerat baby, who lived in with the snake for 3 days...Molly was terrified of her since she smelled of their natural predator.
...and then there's happy Lilith. :heart:

She is very much Lilith the Lithe now :cheeky:
