Issues with Harlan and U of Guelph?

so with the U of G do you just call, leave your name and number and what you want (e.g. one bag of Harlan)? and then you drive up the next day or a few days later kind of thing? im completely new at this Harlan stuff and am a little nervous and looking to find out information before i get my ratties.
oh, and i was looking on the website and saw a number, but im not sure if its the right one....

Order through MumsyRat in the link above if you read through this thread then you'll see the problems with ordering through Guelph. You can call the number on their website and then go pick it up but there's no guarantee the food will be there. That's what happened to me.

yes, i saw the link to order through MumsyRat.. and that sounds like the way to go.
i definitly wouldnt want to drive all the way up to Guelph and have my food not be there. :?

What we used to do in the past for large orders, I would call one week in advance and then give them a specific date for pick up. I have the number somewhere, I'll post it when I find it.
For one bag, you only need to give them 24 hours notice.

I have picked up multiple bags of HT from the university as many as six at a time and never had any issue all I had to do was give 24 hours notice. Not sure but I'm wondering if it might have something to do with it being the summer and a decrease in staff for the summer.
