While I was researching about what the best humidity level and temperature to keep a room containing pet rats at, I came across a website that said “
Cage temperature should be 65-70°F (18-27°C); 72°F (22°C) is ideal. Humidity should be 30-70%.” Does this sound like a reasonable humidity level/temperature? I am not too sure how reliable the website is.

Do you think it is alright to have the temperature at 72°F and 36 % (+/-) humidity. I got a new evaporative cool moisture humidifier a couple of days ago and I am not quite used to it yet.

All replies are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Any humidity above 55% could cause some damage to your home (such as mold), or so I've been told. I'm not quite sure on that part lol. Room temp sounds good. Usually I go by what makes me feel comfortable, they feel comfortable too.

I know it's not good if the air is too dry (I put jars of water around if it is), and obviously mold would be bad for their delicate respiratory systems, but don't worry too much about it, I'm with ViciousCurse - if it's comfy for me it's comfy for them. I've heard you should avoid drafts tho.
