Hello. i am pretty up on medications for our rats and having a little one on lifelong meds we are all pretty savvy... but... instead of doxy liquid this time i could only get powder so close to christmas and it has just been delivered with my regukar baytril.
I have no idea how much and how to dilute it i am lost.
Its a sachet of 50g and it says 6% doxy on it.
how do i use this please? he weighs 410g at present. i only have 1 day of liqyud doxy left and cant get any at all till end of January.

any help would be very appreciated.

6% is 60 mg.

You would need to pour that packet of powder into a small bottle, add 1.5 ml of water til dissolved, (if it doesn't dissolve then see amended instructions below), then add 2.5 ml of sweet syrup (total of 4 ml of fluid) giving you 15 mg/ml of doxy solution.
His dose would be 0.27 ml twice a day

If it doesn't dissolve, change the liquid to 2 ml of water then 2 ml of syrup instead.
