In the past couple days, I have developed some illness symptoms that could be anything from COVID to strep throat (I am going to get tested today). I was wondering how safe it is for me to handle my ratties during this time? I’ve seen some sources that say humans can transmit strep throat to rats while others saying they can’t. does anyone have any insight on this? I want to cuddle them but I don’t want to hurt them!

There's only a few things you can give your rats and one is strep pneumonia (NOT strep throat) so you should be fine.
