Fluttering ears = pregnancy watch over?

Well long story short the young boy I thought I had turned out to be a girl with very well hidden nipples and a boy like spacing between her anus/urethra. She fooled three of us and was even compared to a girl her size and she had a much larger space. I wet her down twice to find nipples and didnt and then Sunday night I checked again (eh I'm paranoid) and tada nipple. I've had her for two weeks ish now and she was with my boys until this past Sunday night. Oh and she came from a petstore. No I did not purchase her.

For now she's on pregnancy watch with a box and lots of nesting material just in case. Being weighed twice daily at the same times. If she isn't pregnant she will be spayed ASAP. She would be spayed now if I could but my vet won't spay girls under 240 ish grams.

She seems rounder in the belly in person but hopefully I'm just being overly paranoid. Will update this every few days (or more if I see a huge weight gain)

Just about two weeks ago yeah. My boys are her age up to like... 6-7 months.

I'm not sure how old she is, I'm horrible at age guessing. She was in with 6 boys, my oldest two boys live alone.

eta: She arrived at the petstore before I got her. Rats here go VERY fast from that store unfortunately. So whatever the average age for rats arriving at pets unlimited + 2 weeks is how old she is.

But Shelagh, xio's boys range from 7/8 weeks - 6 months... So if she did go into heat, there are boys old enough to figure out what to do... I just really hope we got lucky & nothing happened! *Fingers & paws crossed over here*

Hmmmm ... I thought she might be a boy .... remember Megan joked that we might need to trade ratties as I though my (hopefully) baby girl looked a bit like a baby boy ....
and I check that baby every day because I haven't found any nipples ..... :roll:

I'd be impressed if your baby girl turned out to be a baby boy since she was bigger than Barrow and had a smaller space between anus and urethra... Stranger things have happened though.

She weighed in at 121g tonight.

Her weight tonight was 125 again.

Hahaha don't say that! :emb: But yes I'll definitely figure something out. Might move two boys into the cage she's in now so her and any possible babies can have more room (once bigger of course).

Also I now have an air purifier to improve air quality for us all

You may want to suppliment her diet with baby cereal mixed up with soy infant formula.
I am still out at Godmothers but will be moving back to town on Friday.
